Israel Folau excited by Waratahs coach Michael Cheika's attacking approach
Cheika makes no apologies for his hotblooded style, and he scared Moore Park's birds off their perches with a withering lecture to his players in the middle of a training run observed by Wallabies forwards coach Andrew Blades.
Cheika is determined to introduce a freeflowing running game to the Tahs next season and he was furious with his halfbacks and support players for deviating from that plan during an opposed squad session.
"There's a certain way we want to play," Cheika said afterwards. "Sometimes the point has to be made that this is the way we play footy, louis vuitton handbags, that part is not negotiable.
"Sometimes you've got to make the point a bit louder," he added with a laugh.
"Michael has mentioned to the group that we're going to play an exciting style of footy, a more attacking style," Folau said.
"That excites most of the players in the group and we're working on it hard. Hopefully what we've trained on we can put that into the game.
"What I've done so far has been very enjoyable.
"I'm looking forward to training more and getting into the trial games when they come around.
"What excites me is in attack, playing as an outside back, when you get the ball you have a lot more space. That's very exciting for me.
"Every time I get the ball I try to back myself."
Cheika has been impressed by Folau's natural timing in team drills, training on the right wing.

"He hasn't seemed out of place at all so far," Cheika said. "He's finding his position nicely.
"We ran some setpiece plays which he wouldn't have been used to and got his timing right. It's all about timing for guys like that.
"I think he's really enjoying himself. That's the important part. The wing is a big position, there's a lot happening out there."
Folau has not yet done full contact ruckandmaul work.
"I've found it OK," Folau said. "The position I play out wide you don't have to be as involved in the rucks as the forwards obviously. That's something I'll keep learning.
