Eastlake Police received a complaint of a drunk man in Discount Tobacco on Vine Street who was upset after the clerk would not "let him slide" on a little money. When officers arrived, the man and his vehicle were gone. Willoughby Fire responded to Sherbrooke Metals for a transformer box on fire outside of the business. It turned out to be only a mulch fire. for a disturbance. The male resident reported his soontobe ex just kicked in his door. A report was taken and given to the city prosecutor. Laketran reported to Willowick Police that someone on the bus was refusing to pay and would not get off of the bus. The woman told the officer that she needed a ride to Willoughby Municipal Court for an appearance. The officer took her to the court. The woman said that five people got out of a green Jeep in front of her house and urinated on her fence. She also said the occupants were drinking inside the car. The Jeep was not located. Willoughby Police responded to Gardenside Drive for a theft complaint. A female reported that her exboyfriend stole her Jet Ski. An officer called the man and told him of the pending theft charges. The Jet Ski was returned four hours later. to a daycare for an ongoing investigation involving stolen money. When officers spoke with the cleaning crew a 19yearold male from Cleveland admitted to the theft. He had been helping his grandmother clean the business. The daycare owner asked for restitution instead of charges. The man has been banned from the property. juveniles were digging around in the recycle bin at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. The children were found and said that older kids picked on them and threw a cell phone in the bin. The officer assisted and the phone was recovered. Willowick Police received a few calls about a male on a bicycle that is either impaired or having a medical issue. The man fell multiple times while trying to cross the street. Officers located the man who was not feeling well. He was given a ride home. a Willoughby Police officer on patrol saw two males riding bikes and carrying a filled pillow case. The officer was suspicious because someone was recently arrested for breaking into vehicles and carrying the items in a pillow case. The 18yearolds consented to a search of their case. A blanket and a bag of chips were found, but no contraband. They were sent on their way. Shelton Blvd. that a resident saw a white male wearing a black hoodie and a backpack looking into his window. A check of the area did not produce the male. When officers spoke to the 11yearold witness, he said he had just woken up so he was not sure if the man was real or a nightmare. a resident on Willowick Drive in Eastlake called for help getting a bat out of his home. It escaped before police arrived. Willowick Police received a call from Blissfield Drive reported that someone threw his fire pit, beer cans, rocks and other items in his pool.
June 16: Eastlake Police received a 2336rhs report of a possible impaired driver on Lakeshore Blvd. The car was swerving out of the lanes. The car was found and stopped. The 28yearold female was but was having a verbal argument with her child father. She was given a warning. a 15yearold from called Eastlake Police to report his mother having a medical emergency. The mom grabbed the phone yelling about her son stealing from her. When officers arrived, the woman had no medical problem but was drunk. a 21yearold Mayfield Heights resident called 911. The woman was in the bathroom at the Handle Bar on Vine Street in Eastlake. She said she had too much to drink and is unable to function. She was transported to Lake Health West Medical Center by the Eastlake Fire Department. when she was woken up by loud juveniles on her front porch. The woman said she found her daughter having a party with alcohol. While the call to police was being made, the group left in a vehicle. The car was located and stopped on Vine Street. The 20yearold male driver from Mentor was cited for driving under suspension,[url=http://www.xantrex.cc]louis vuitton handbags[/url], two 16yearold females from Mentor and Concord were given curfew citations and the 17yearold daughter was charged with the keg law. The hepatitis B vaccines suspected of causing the death of two babies have been sealed for investigation, a manager of the company that produces them said.
The vaccines were produced by Biokangtai in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
The company produced 450,000 hepatitis B vaccines last year and the suspect ones came from two different batches, Southern Metropolis Daily reported, citing a Biokangtai manager.
The manager told the newspaper the bulk of the vaccines were sold to Hunan Province, where two babies have died after receiving a vaccination.
However, 3,600 vaccines were sold to Guangdong Province and some to Guizhou Province, the manager added.
